Cutie on Tuesday...

Mickenzie is now wearing some of her 6 mo. clothes. I got this shirt out this morning...it seemed to fit her current trend. :)

I'm not really sure what she saw here, but it took her a while to look up.

Valentine's Weekend

Asleep, oh so ladylike, in her swing (2/13).
The best smile picture we have to date on her first Valentine's Day.

Uncle Todd feeding Kenzie, while she keeps a close eye on her dad.

Spending the morning with Aunt Donna and her puppy (2.15).

Figuring out her tongue...and the bumpy side of her block.

Talking with GC.

Jammies with GC.

On Monday morning she finally let GC feed her, the evenings are a bit rough around our house.

She wasn't too interested in anything her Grandpa Mick was looking at on eBay.

Doing Laundry...

Last night (2/12) Mickenzie was watching me fold laundry on the bed in her bedroom. She was playing with her wrist rattles and having a good time.
She was talking the whole time, holding her head up quite nice...

Drooling all over the place (we have to keep something handy for her new spit bubble trick)...

By the time I was done she was sound asleep. I'm not sure what happened....maybe it wasn't exciting enough for her.

Her dad was kind enough to give her a blanket to keep her bare legs warm while I put clothes away. I wound up having to wake her up and put her in her crib because she was sliding down into her Boppy. I thought these pictures were just too cute to not share with everyone.

Mickenzie and I asleep one morning. Sometimes she'll wake up at 5:00 for a snack, then fall back asleep. She's using her new Pendleton Wool blanket she got as a gift on Superbowl Sunday.
One morning I went to shower, came back, and Troy and Kenzie had fallen asleep. I think the random hour we're awake in the middle of the night gets to us at times.

Mickenzie and I last weekend before her bath. She's getting so big.

Mickenzie before her bath...her big tummy and big eyes.

Another bath shot.

Here are a few recent pictures of Mickenzie. Yesterday we had her two-month well baby check and first shots. She didn't cry nearly as much as I thought she would have (which was really nice). She actually fell asleep in her car seat before we left the Drs. office. She is at the 50th percentile for height and weight...13.3 lbs. and 22 3/4 in. Not too bad.

It has been a bit cold, so we have yet to get outside for much time. Today we walked down to the shop to visit Troy and her Grandpa Marks. I bought a BabyBjorn carrier and she seems to really enjoy it. It even has a little cover that helps to keep her a bit warmer (it's not the thickest). I hope that she doesn't grow too much and we can use it later this spring and summer for walks.
